A sex racket operational in the city was on Thursday unearthed by the Kurukshetra police with the arrest of 10 women and five men. Kurukshetra's Superintendent of Police Parul Kush Jain ordered the DSP Bhupender Singh to conduct raids at several places in the city following a tip off.
Raids were conducted on some houses in Sector 3 of HUDA, Krishna Nagar Gamadi, Salarpur road and Jhansa road from where ten women and five touts were nabbed last night. All the girls being used in the flesh trade were called from Nepal, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Mumbai and Delhi on contractual basis, the police said. The police also recovered 19 mobiles from their possession and also two vehicles which were used to ferry the
girls to their clients in the neighbouring towns.
