Raj Thackery superstitious about number nine

Raj Thackeray was seen driving his SUVs with registration number 9. Out of the four vehicles in his fleet, he first chose the Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number MH-01-AQ-9.

He also drove an Audi Q7 with registration number MH-2-Z-9. Incidentally, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief's visit to the city was also scheduled on Tuesday, August 9. Of the four SUVs, two have registration numbers 9, while one has 9000.

He arrived in the city in a charter plane and drove to Circuit House. Those in his team claimed that he chose to drive the SUVs himself so as to get the feel of the infrastructure in the city.

Around 25 highly qualified and well-dressed executives are accompanying him during the visit. They were earlier employed with corporates before joining the MNS, sources informed. Though Thackeray prefers speaking in Marathi, his core team members don't mind communicating in English with people.
